4 Ply Pure Australian Merino Wool Yarn Boulder Grey

Boulder Grey is one of my most popular colourways. This gorgeous neutral has greys, browns and pops of golden yellows and rust along the hanks.

Pure wool is perfect for those extra special knits where something very special is needed. This yarn is perfect for any next to skin project like scarves, shawls, beanies and gloves etc..

A yarn that is as close to its natural origins as possible. No superwash treatment, just a wash to remove the grease and dirt from the fleece then combed for spinning. A great choice for those looking for a luxurious, non superwash, no nylon yarn.

• Untreated Sustainable, No superwash or nylon
• 100% Australian Fleece Yarn.
• 19.5 microns, long staple,
• Worsted spun.
• Hand dyed hank
• Suitable for knitting, crochet, weaving, felting, crafts etc.

This yarn has been hand dyed using Australian made dyes right here in my little studio in the northwest coast of Tasmania.

Recommended Needle Size

Recommended Needle Size: 2.5 - 4mm needles
Gauge (stocking stitch): 28sts x 36 rows over 10cm/4 inches
on 3.25mm (US 3) needles

Care Instructions

Cool hand wash with an approved wool wash, roll in a towel, very gently spin, dry flat in the shade. Do not agitate,
