4 Ply Pure Australian Merino Wool Yarn Asparagus

Asparagus is a lovely versatile slightly silvery yellow semi solid colourway. 

Beautiful soft and springy pure wool, this yarn will knit, crochet, weave or felt into a fantastic project like a shawl, beanie, scarf etc.

Next to skin softness wonderful and warm this no superwash and no nylon yarn is perfect for those luxury knits.

These solid colours are not something I do often so there are a limited range of colours and hanks available.

Yarn Base Details

• 400 Mt / 100 gram Hank
• Untreated Sustainable, no superwash or nylon.
• Superfine Australian Fleece Yarn.
• 19.5 microns, long staple,
• Worsted spun.
• Hand Dyed using Australian Made dyes

This yarn has been hand dyed using Australian made dyes right here in my little studio in the northwest coast of Tasmania.

Please know that I take care with my photos but sometimes there may be a slight difference on screens. I also take care with my dyeing but as with all hand dyed fibres there may be a little variation in the shades throughout the hanks. This is quite normal.

Recommended Needle Size

Recommended Needle Size: 2.5 - 4mm needles
Gauge (stocking stitch): 28sts x 36 rows over 10cm/4 inches
on 3.25mm (US 3) needles 

Care Instructions

Cool hand wash with an approved wool wash, roll in a towel, very gently spin, dry flat in the shade. Do not agitate,
