Boulder Grey is a popular colourway that I dye across a number of bases and I love how it works on the Mohair silk laceweight. A warm brown grey neutral with pops of orange brown and ginger to give it a lovely variegated look.
Perfect to use as a carry along thread for special projects. Use it with my 4 ply fingering sock or Pure merino. Or make some of my 8 Ply superwash merino into a thicker weight yarn (swatch please!) for a really warm snuggly feel
This lace weight yarn with the softer and rarer Superkid mohair is used to produce this soft and luxurious mohair/silk yarn.
Two strands of mulberry silk hold the mohair fibres in place to add radiance and strength. Gentle enough for next to skin wear.
With 72% Superkid Mohair and 28% Mulberry Silk this is the perfect yarn for a carry along yarn or for those very delicate knits.
- 72% Superkid Mohair + 28% Mulberry Silk
- 420m per 50gm hanks.

Caring for your yarns
These are delicate yarns, strong but very fine. I recommend a delicate wool wash and hand washing in cool water. The fibres may flatten when washed and can be carefully fluffed to restore the halo.
