4 Ply Pure Australian Merino Wool Yarn Tea Rose

Tea Rose is a soft delicate apricot pink colourway that is popular on my other bases. It looks lovely knitted on its own or with Kid Mohair & Silk or Suri Alpaca Silk Lace as carry along thread.

Pure wool is perfect for those special knits where something extra special is needed. This yarn is perfect for any next to skin project like scarves, shawls, beanies and gloves etc..

A yarn that is as close to its natural origins as possible. No superwash treatment, just a wash to remove the grease and dirt from the fleece then combed for spinning. A great choice for those looking for a luxurious, non superwash, no nylon yarn.

• 400 Mt / 100 gram Hank
• Untreated Sustainable, No superwash or nylon
• 100% Australian Fleece Yarn.
• 19.5 microns, long staple,
• Worsted spun.
• Hand Dyed
• Suitable for knitting, crochet, weaving, felting, crafts etc.

This yarn has been hand dyed using Australian made dyes right here in my little studio in the northwest coast of Tasmania.

Recommended Needle Size

Recommended Needle Size: 2.5 - 4mm needles
Gauge (stocking stitch): 28sts x 36 rows over 10cm/4 inches
on 3.25mm (US 3) needles

Care Instructions

Cool hand wash with an approved wool wash, roll in a towel, very gently spin, dry flat in the shade. Do not agitate,
